LinkedIn published its Top Companies 2022 ranking, indicating the 10 best companies to work for in the US to grow a professional career.

As professionals have changed jobs at an unprecedented rate in 2021, companies had to step up to attract and retain talent.

Today, employees and jobseekers have become empowered and evaluate very well what they expect from a company.

The 10 best companies to work for in the US

They also know that they must be able to make changes in their approach to job hunting in an environment that is challenging to find an interesting job with good benefits.

In this context, for the sixth consecutive year, LinkedIn produced a list of the 10 best workplaces to achieve good professional development, taking into account seven fundamental pillars:

• Ability to advance
• Skill Growth
• Company stability
• External opportunity
• Affinity with the company
• Gender diversity, and
• Variety of educational backgrounds

Next, the Top Ten of LinkedIn 2022:

1. Amazon

Amazon is the parent company of Whole Foods Market, Zappos, Twitch, PillPack and others. With a global workforce of 1,600,000 employees (1,100,000 in the US). With primary locations in Seattle, the San Francisco Bay Area, and New York City, primarily.

2. Alphabet

Parent company of Google, YouTube, Fitbit, Waymo, Verily, and others. With a global workforce of 156,000 employees with locations in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City and Seattle.

3. Wells Fargo

Parent banking company of Wells Fargo Private Bank and others, with a global workforce of 247,800 employees (with 208,700 in the US). Its main locations are in Charlotte, NC, the San Francisco Bay Area and Minneapolis.

4. JPMorgan Chase & Co.

Parent company of J.P. Morgan, Chase, WePay, Washington Mutual and others. It has a global workforce of 271,000 workers (with 170,000 in the US). Its main locations include New York City; Columbus, Ohio; and Chicago.

5. Walmart

Walmart is the parent retail company of Bonobos, Sam’s Club and others. It has a global workforce of 2,300,000 employees (with 1,600,000 in the US) Its main US locations include Fayetteville, Arkansas, Dallas and Atlanta.

6. IBM

Parent of Red Hat, SoftLayer and others, with a global workforce of 250,000 employees. Located in the US in New York City; Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina; and San Francisco Bay Area.

7. AT&T

Parent telecommunications company of WarnerMedia, Cricket Wireless and others. It has a full-time global workforce of 202,600 employees. Its main US locations include Atlanta, Dallas and New York.

8. Bank of America

Parent banking company of Merrill Lynch, US Trust and others. With a global workforce of 203,400 workers (with 161,700 in the US), its main US locations are in New York City; Charlotte, N.C.; and Dallas.

9. Apple

Parent tech company of AuthenTec, Shazam and others. Its workforce is made up of 154,000 collaborators. With locations in the San Francisco Bay Area; Austin, Texas; and in New York City.

10. Comcast

The media producer is the parent of NBCUniversal, Sky, DreamWorks Animation and others. It has a global workforce of 189,000 employees (with 130,000 in the US) Its main US locations include Philadelphia, New York and Los Angeles.
