How to prepare a coffee ice cream with whiskey
- 2 cups of milk
- 2 cups of whipping cream
- 1 cup of sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 tablespoons of soluble coffee
- 1/2 cup of whiskey
- 1/2 cup Irish cream
- In a pot put the milk with half the sugar and the soluble coffee over medium heat
- While it is heating, beat the yolks with the rest of the sugar until it forms a foamy and pale mixture and add a little of the hot milk (from step 1) on top of the yolks and stir very well until everything is integrated.
- Once mixed, add the preparation of the yolks in the pot and cook over low heat until it thickens completely. Once it acquires a porridge-like consistency, remove from heat and let cool completely.
You can enjoy this ice cream with a syrup or topping of your choice.
