Louisville shooting leaves six victims including a police officer

A recent shooting in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, left six victims, including a police officer.
The shooting occurred on Monday morning hours in the 300 block of East Main Street, where the Louisville police showed up due to a report of an active assailant.
The FBI reported the incident as a shooting and urged the public to stay away from the area.
According to media reports, there was an exchange of gunfire between the shooter and police, causing the attacker to be neutralized, and all victims were taken to the University Hospital.
The city’s police department has not yet made a public statement regarding the incident.
Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear posted on his Twitter account that he was on his way to the shooting scene and asked for prayers for the victims’ families.
