National Cheeseburger Day: Where to Get Free Food
Sunday, September 18, marks National Cheeseburger Day in the United States, and to celebrate, burger chains are ready with free meal promotions.
While a cheeseburger seems so natural these days, in the past a burger consisted mostly of meat, buns, and other ingredients. According to National Today, it was in 1926, when Lionel Sternberger created a cheeseburger while working at his father’s sandwich restaurant, The Rite Spot, in Pasadena, California.
The cheeseburger is one of the basic fast foods in the United States and to celebrate its day, we share what are the promotions that popular hamburger chains have.
