Pentagon confirms downing of unidentified flying object off the coast of Alaska

A U.S. Pentagon spokesman issued statements confirming the downing of an unidentified object in Alaska.

According to the report, an F-22 aircraft shot it down safely, although the pentagon did not give more detailed information about the event.

“Air Command assigned by the U.S. government, successfully shot down at 1:45 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time) an object flying over the Alaskan coast. On Feb. 9, the U.S. Air Defense Command detected an object on radar, and it was classified as a fighter aircraft,” General Ryder mentioned.

“It was flying at an altitude of 40,000 feet (12 km), close enough for us to be concerned about the safety of our citizens. Once it was shot down, our agents collected the evidence.”

The general also said that the U.S. and Canadian governments do not yet have clear information on the origin of the object, although he commented that it was the size of a car and about the height of a balloon.
