Two dead after plane crashes in Mississippi

A plane crashed Saturday near Tupelo Regional Airport in the morning hours, according to a report from the authorities.
Local Fire Department Chief Michael Moody confirmed to CBS News that they had accounted for two fatalities, although their identities had not been released.
Moody also noted that all unconfirmed information will be reported in the coming hours, as the investigation concluded.
A witness to the accident named Charles Johnson stated for WCBI that he and his wife were driving on a road near the accident.
“I told my wife, ‘That plane crashed,'” says Johnson, who also said he stopped to see if anyone needed help, but there was only a giant flame in the wreckage.
The witness also assures that “there was nothing left to do,” later, emergency services arrived on the scene, including National Guard personnel and fire trucks.
