Two people die after small plane crashes in Lantana, near Palm Beach

Authorities in Lantana confirmed the death of two people in an accident when a small plane crashed on Monday.
Members of the Palm Beach Fire Department reported that an accident occurred on Sunday night when emergency crews arrived at the airport to extinguish the flames on the small plane.
According to the report, firefighters were able to control the fire; however, the two crew members of the light aircraft were pronounced dead at the scene, and their identities had not yet been released.
The NTSB also reported that department officials are investigating incidents in conjunction with members of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
According to the FlightAware flight tracker, the plane had taken off from the town of Williston, and authorities have not yet reported the results of the investigation.
Last night around 9:26 PM, Deputies responded to a place crash at the Lantana Airport. Upon arrival the plane was engulfed with flames which were extinguished by PBCFR. Two deceased W/M victims were observed in the wreckage.
