Two police officers hospitalized after shooting in Florida

Two police officers sustained serious injuries after shooting during a traffic stop in Orlando Friday night, according to a police report.
Orlando Police Department officers reportedly stopped a vehicle around 11 p.m. Friday, when they were investigating a homicide in Miami, when the suspect in the car began shooting at them.
Orlando Police Chief, Eric Smith, told a news conference that both officers were taken to the Orlando Regional Medical Center.
Smith also reported that the police pursued the stolen vehicle but were unable to catch it, so the search for the suspect is still ongoing.
According to information from the Orlando Police Department’s Twitter account, they are on the lookout for two suspects.
