Musk replaced the iconic Twitter logo with an X for the new “super app”

Elon Musk reignited Twitter after announcing that he would be changing the iconic “little bird” logo with an X.

According to Musk, he will be looking to launch a “super app” similar to WeChat in China; however, the announcement caused intrigues among Twitter users.

Due to Elon Musk’s history of announcements that failed to materialize, some users assumed that the logo change was not going to happen, according to the BBC.

Elon Musk’s plan was X.com?

Musk shared a tweet on his profile, where he showed a new Twitter logo that would end the use of the little bird.

According to some experts, Musk’s plan could be due to the creation of a super app similar to its Asian counterparts such as PayTM, GoJek, and WeChat.

Super apps have become an integral part of everyday life for millions of people and are used to pay for services through the financial system.

New era for twitter

Twitter has been transforming since it was acquired by Elon Musk in October 2022, after which it changed its name to X Corp.

Musk’s vision caught the attention of virtually the entire Internet, although many users remained skeptical due to Musk’s history of announcements that never came to fruition.

However, some pundits suggest that Twitter is also not at its best and is facing a $500 million lawsuit for severance payments to former employees.
