WhatsApp to Discontinue Service on Several Phone Models in September

WhatsApp, the leading app in instant messaging services, is continually evolving to offer its users the best possible experience.
However, this relentless progress means that some older devices can no longer keep up with the latest updates.
As a result, WhatsApp has announced it will no longer support a range of phone models starting September 1, 2023.

Each month, WhatsApp updates the list of devices that will no longer be compatible with the app. This month, the list includes phones from popular brands such as Samsung, Huawei, LG, and ZTE, among others.

How to Check If Your Phone Is on the List?
If you have an Android device, make sure it’s not running version 4.4 or lower. For iPhone users, the operating system should be iOS 16.5 or higher.
If you’re unsure about your phone’s operating system version, you can check by going to “Settings”, then “System”, and finally “Software Update”.
